But here are a few things I am loving this week:
This super cool ombre & neon set DIY over at Shrimp Salad Circus. How like retro-contemporary is this? I love the obre effect & then mixed with the neon...amazing. I am thinking about doing just the canister part for our kitchen for coffee, tea, or flour & sugar. I think it would be a cool addition! By the way, is it pronounced om-ber or om-bray?
These free iphone wallpapers take it to the next level. I love The Darling Blog & can't believe how wicked sweet these are. Glitter & Gold = Happiness!
This photo filter DIY from A Beautiful Mess. I love the home made effects of these. I have some gels from my theatre class in college, but I don't think they are big enough to do anything with.
Kaylah from The Dainty Squid shared an entire post dedicated to my favorite bug: the Praying Mantis. I loooove them. They are so alien looking & freaking huge! I can't believe how many there were. I would have loved it!
Link Love
++Miss Indie's favorite free fonts. I love finding fonts & should do my own little post on them!++++This post on beautiful bedding. We went bedroom inspiration shopping last weekend & I have a bedding DIY coming up soon (when I get around to it!). I can't wait to get into the house. It's coming up soon, final touches!++
++This Adventure Kit. I am just a sucker for DIY, notebooks, & luggage.++
++This isn't a link but I am really loving crocheting some blankets to add to the shop. In the new year, 516 is taking a total turn. All the planning I did with the vintage shop really showed me that I didn't have a clear view with the original brand. I'll be doing a totally new artist/design website & moving to Storenvy for the store. There may even be a better blog design around the corner. I just need to focus on being more cohesive.++
Have a great weekend. I think I am heading to Renegade in Chicago. I am sorta hoping & see some bloggers/shop owners I know but the shy part of me is hoping I don't!
Oooh, great links! I would love to see your take on the neon ombre canister makeover. My husband isn't so fond of neons, otherwise I would be all over those bad boys!
