I have loads of books & clothes & toys & saved drawings from when I was in like 2nd grade. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of things? How do you sort out the "needs" & "don't needs"? Believe me I will say I need everyone of those drawings from 2nd grade & notes from high school.
Anyway, back to thrifting. If I had room this is what I'd be tempted to try to find:
recipe boxes
sewing box
sweet teacups
muffin pans & other assorted tart pan things
There were too many awesome ones on etsy to pick just one!
I think I am going to make a section here on the blog about my thrift list. Happy Tuesday everyone!
PS. Don't forget to check out the link parties in the Side Bar or click here!
I'm working on my organization guide (coming out next week), but if you need tips on organizing today's post has a few pointers.
ReplyDeleteI have the hardest time with keeps and not keeps, too. My mom keeps many of my elementary school era drawings. For my college work, I tossed least favorites/scrap stuff. I'm going to take pictures of my favorites, then get them out of the house.
You just can't keep it all. I got rid of 7-10 boxes of stuff at the end of the year and can't wait to donate more :) Then thrift more, bwahaha.
